Barbara is coming back!

Having just completed the CONTACT  (Conflict Transformation Across Cultures) – Peacebuilding program at SIT – Barbara Woods-Langlais offers the Keene community another opportunity to learn about the powerful work of Marshall B. Rosenberg.

Mediation Networking Group
Friday, July 6, Noon

Free Workshop: REGISTER NOW

Participants will practice Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg’s model for Nonviolent CommunicationTM(NVCTM) through group exercises and role plays.  A brief presentation of the model will be presented as a review for some and an introduction for others.

Although not required, those interested may read Rosenberg’s book titled Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life, in preparation for practice exercises.

Barbara’s last workshop for the Mediation Networking Group was well attended and enthusiastically received.  We heard afterwards that the participants wanted more.  The upcoming workshop (on July 6) will give us the opportunity to practice some of what Barbara taught the first time.  Download Barbara’s “Compassionate Communication” handouts here.

SAVE THE DATE

Those interested in more in-depth training in Nonviolent Communication are in luck – Barbara will be co-leading a full day training on October 27, 2012, along with certified NVC trainer and mediator, Stephanie Bachman Mattei.  Participants will practice the NVC model, and learn about its application to mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.  If you are interested in the October training, please contact Cheshire Mediation for more information.
