Suntag of Windham County, VT.  Judge Suntag is an active proponent of Restorative Practices, and works closely with the Brattleboro Community Justice Center.

Justice Suntag was born on October 20, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York. He was educated at the University of Connecticut (B.A., 1975); Vermont Law School, (J.D. cum laude, 1978). He was appointed district court judge in August, 1990. He has served as an Assistant Attorney General, Chief, Criminal Justice Division, 1985-90; Department of Corrections, chief counsel, 1983-85; Deputy State’s Attorney, Rutland County, 1973-83.
